1. Pets are strictly not allowed. Any evidence of a pet on the property will result in an automatic $500 fee plus any damages caused by your pet and extra cleaning costs.
2. Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes are not permitted inside the property or within 10 feet of the home. A $1,000 violation fee will apply, plus any additional cleaning costs.
3. Parking is available in the garage and driveway, with a maximum of 3 vehicles permitted on the property.
4. Please park only in designated spaces and do not block mailboxes or neighbors’ driveways.
5. No parties, events, birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette stays without prior approval. Violation may result in reservation cancellation without refund and a minimum $1,000 fine if evidence is detected.
6. Please be respectful of neighbors. This home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood. No loud noise or music past 10 PM.
7. Any guests exceeding the number listed on the reservation at any time, without prior approval, will incur a $100 per person, per night fee.
8. Photo ID is required upon check-in.
9. For your convenience, the backyard string lights are set on an automatic timer—no action needed. We kindly ask that you turn off the outdoor ceiling fan and its lights when not in use. 
10. Use the fire pit safety screen when using the fire pit.

Smart TV 📺

• The TV remote, soundbar remote, and tower fan remote are located in the left drawer of the floating shelf.
• Press the Home button to get started.
• Select Guest Mode.
• Log in using your own streaming accounts.
• Please remember to log out of all streaming accounts before check-out.

Thermostat 🌡️

• Located in the hallway.
  Recommended temperature range: 68–74°F.

Coffee Station ☕

• Located on the kitchen counter.
  Includes a Keurig coffee maker with frother and Breville electric kettle.
• Coffee pods, tea, creamers, and sweeteners are provided.
• Coffee cups are located in the cabinet directly above the coffee station.

Fully Stocked Kitchen 🍳

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including:

• Large countertop space for food preparation
• Full-size refrigerator and freezer
• Glass cooktop and oven
• Microwave
• Air fryer

Laundry 🧺

• A washer and dryer are located in the laundry room for your convenience.
• Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided.
• An iron and portable ironing board are also available.
• Please remove lint from the dryer after each use.

Trash 🗑️

Trash pickup is Friday morning. Two green trash bins are located in the garage.

If your stay includes Thursday evening, please place the bins at the edge of the driveway closest to the street for Friday morning pickup.

If you prefer, I’m happy to take care of this for you—just let me know at check-in. I may need brief access to the garage on Thursday evening to move the bins outside and will return them to the garage Friday morning after collection.

Private Backyard 🌿🔥
Enjoy full access to the private backyard during your stay. A foldable picnic table is available for your convenience.

Have fun with our custom outdoor games, including:

• Regulation-size pro cornhole
• Giant wooden dice
• Rustic ring toss, located in the front hallway closet
• Life-size chessboard ♟️
• 4-in-a-row game

These are perfect for friendly competition, relaxing outdoors, and making memories during your stay.

Fire Pit & Grill Use 🔥
Please use the fire pit and charcoal grill responsibly.

• Never leave a fire unattended.
  Make sure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving the area.
• Charcoal only in the grill—please do not use wood.
• Do not use the fire pit or grill during local burn bans.
• Please follow the instructions provided below for proper use.
• Before You Go
  Please clean up after using the backyard, dispose of any trash, and return games and other items to their original locations.
• Please also observe the community’s quiet hours at all times. Thank you for helping us keep this space beautiful and enjoyable for everyone!

Garage 🚗🏓
Guests are welcome to park in the garage.

• The garage comfortably accommodates two compact cars or one midsize/full-size vehicle.
• A ping pong table is available for your enjoyment. Feel free to set it up for a match, or fold it and place it to the side when you need additional parking space.

Community Pool 🏊‍♂️
Community pool access is available to Ember House guests as a shared community amenity. The pool is a great place to relax, swim, and enjoy the outdoors.

You can access the pool using the pool access card provided inside Ember House. Please follow all community pool rules and observe the posted seasonal operating hours.

Important: Please return the pool access card to Ember House before check-out. A $150 fee will be charged for a lost or stolen pool access card.

Your safety is important to us. The home is equipped with the following safety features:

• Exterior security cameras at the front door, driveway, and backyard. No cameras inside the property.
• Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms.
• Noise monitoring devices to help maintain a peaceful environment.
• Fire extinguisher, fire blanket, first aid kit, and emergency flashlight are all located in the kitchen pantry.

Guests are welcome to use the charcoal grill during their stay. Please follow these guidelines for safe use.

How to Use the Charcoal Grill:

1. Place charcoal evenly inside the grill.
2. Use charcoal starter or lighter fluid sparingly to ignite the charcoal.
3. Light the charcoal using a long lighter or match.
4. Allow the charcoal to heat until it turns light gray with ash before cooking.
5. Use grilling utensils to place food safely on the grill.

After Using the Grill:

• Allow the charcoal and grill to cool completely.
• Ensure all coals are fully extinguished before disposing of ashes.
• Please clean the grill grates after use.

Grill Safety Guidelines:

• Never leave the grill unattended while in use.
• Do not place the grill near the home, fences, or flammable materials.
• Keep children and pets at a safe distance.
• Do not use the grill indoors, in the garage, or under covered areas.
• Use the grill only in the designated outdoor area.

The fire pit is available for guest enjoyment. Please follow the instructions below to ensure a safe and pleasant experience.

How to Use the Fire Pit:

1. Use only firewood in the fire pit. Do not burn trash, paper products, or other materials.
2. Keep the fire small and controlled at all times.
3. Use a lighter or long match to ignite the fire safely.
4. Place the fire pit safety screen over the fire while it is burning to help contain sparks and embers.
5. Always remain present while the fire is burning.
6. When finished, fully extinguish the fire with water and ensure all embers are completely out. The water hose is located on the left side of the house close to where the giant chessboard is. 

Fire Pit Safety Guidelines:

• Never leave the fire unattended.
• Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the fire pit.
• Do not use the fire pit during strong winds or dry conditions.
• Keep flammable items, furniture, and decorations at least 3 feet away.
• If the fire becomes too large or unsafe, extinguish it immediately with water.
• Ensure the fire is fully out before going inside or going to bed.

To help us prepare Ember House for our next guests, please take a moment to complete the following before you leave:

1. Used Towels 🧺
   Please gather all used towels and place them in the laundry basket or washer in the laundry room.
2. Beds 🛏️
   Please do not strip the beds. Leave the beds as they are so we can easily identify which linens belong to each bed.
3. Trash 🗑️
   Please gather all trash from inside and outside the home and place it in the large green trash bins located in the garage.
4. Turn Off & Unplug 🔌
   Please turn off all lights, stove, oven, and televisions. Also, unplug any hair dryers and irons.
5. Pool Access Card 🏊‍♂️
   Please leave the pool access card on top of the welcome table.
6. Dishwasher 🍽️
   Please load and start the dishwasher before leaving.
7. Doors & Locks 🔐
   Please make sure all doors are completely closed and locked before you leave.
